Project: Food and Thoughts No. 29

Finally we got Jem available to accommodate Danielle’s invitation for a food trip before she leaves for Qatar. The original plan was for us to go to Ilocos and tour Danielle around Jem’s hometown. Due to a crazy work week, we weren’t able to push through so we opted to go on a, what else, food trip.

We went to Torch in Greenhills and ordered the following:

Cheese Omellete @ P169.95

A purely cheese omellete, with cheddar, mozzarella, Fontina and Ricotta cheese.

                                                        High Ribs Breakfast @ P169
Grilled baby back ribs basted with jabaƱero barbeque sauce served with one egg and buttered garlic rice.
Hush Puppies Half Order @ P99.95
Bite-sized round Danish buttermilk pancakes rolled in a delicious cinnamon sugar mixture,
and served with a rosemary maple syrup.
Bacon Strips @ P90.00
                                                         U.S. Angus Beef Tapa @ P186.95
Sauteed tapa slices of U.S. Angus Beef, marinated in Torch's original recipe.
Served with egg and buttered garlic rice.

What a hearty breakfast! It's nice to see Jem and Danielle (two of my very good friends getting along). I intoduced Jem to Danielle when I tagged him along our Bicol trip last year. From then on, the two have been like long-time friends too. I find delight in it. To me, a good friend should be shared. This was a double treat - introducing a good friend to another good friend. This is social networking at its finest!
